Thanks to everyone who visited our exibition booth at the Lange Nacht der Computerspiele 2024 on April 27, 2024 in Leipzig.
In addition to the retro area (where you found us) with new and old games as well as some curious old and newly built hardware, there were numerous indie game developers to visit spread over many floors, corridors and rooms in the historic university building.
Numerous lectures could be attended (learning on the weekend – yeah), the annual robot soccer tournament with self-developed hardware also took place again.
Particularly exciting were the many gaming projects outside of software, for which people are developing new and sometimes very unusual hardware.
There was also a large board game area again.
Despite the bright sunshine, the number of visitors was very high and the event was a complete success.
EASTPIXEL was there with Anna: The Magic of Words and I am very pleased that the game was very well received and played in large numbers. Next year, two game consoles will be more ideal in order to be able to serve the number of interested visitors.
I am glad that the game and the game engine held up and that no bugs or anomalies occurred despite the large number of different users and their often unforeseen ways of mastering the game.
