Thank you to everyone who visited our stand at the Long Night of Computer Games 2025 on 10 May 2025 in Leipzig.
EASTPIXEL was there for the second time with Anna: The Magic of Words and I am very pleased that the game was very well received and played a lot. Since the LNC 2024, the development of the game has progressed well and for the first time two complete game worlds could be explored.
We had set up two game stations to give everyone interested the chance to play this year, last year it was a bit crowded at the stand 😉
Anna could be played on either a Japanese Famicom console or a Retron 1, old and new hardware side by side.
In addition to the retro area (where you found us) with new and old games and finally a few Amstrad CPC computers, numerous indie game developers presented their games. The whole thing was spread over many floors, corridors and rooms in the historic university building.
Numerous lectures could be attended (learning at the weekend – yeah), and the annual robot football tournament with self-developed hardware also took place again.
The many games projects outside of software, for which new and sometimes very unusual hardware is being developed, were particularly exciting.
There was also once again a large board game area.
Despite the bright sunshine, the number of visitors was very high and the event was a complete success.
We will definitely see you again next year.
