A new game project has been started: CHIMP!<\/p>\n

The game is a 2D-platformer in the style of old arcade games. Coming for NES\/Famicom and Steam.<\/p>\n

What’s about<\/h4>\n

A monkey dreams of owning his own hair salon.
\nTo make his dream come true, he needs gold. The gold is locked away behind closed doors.
\nTo open the doors, he needs keys. The keys are guarded by whimsical and absurd animal enemies.
\nTo defeat the animals, he must find bananas to throw at them.
\nThat\u2019s the story.<\/p>\n

50 levels. Available on the NES, Famicom and on Steam.<\/p>\n

As well as the digital version, a physical version is also planned.<\/p>\n

What’s behind<\/h4>\n

The game is part of “make one videogame within 48 hours” (not in a row but total in time).<\/p>\n

What’s done already<\/h4>\n

The graphics are nearly ready. The physics are ready, concept ready, enemies ready, collectables ready, door and key system ready. Bananas ready. The game is already working well on original hardware and as ROM file as it’s feature ready right now. What’s missing: I create levels right now and Radu Prado is creating music.<\/p>\n
